winter update

Cold and nippy in upstate New York....snow and more snow but mostly lots of chill boosting up the thermostats and the fuel bills. Of course the cost of fuel oil has gone up per gallon.

But it's very, very pretty....always very pretty. But, you know....Winter is o.k. for about four weeks and then it's time for Spring. That's my formula. Ask anyone up here and most of us would agree. O.K. skiers would have a short season but they'd also have their knees when they hit 50. It's a good trade.
